Is the Pega Upgrade tool reliable?

I have attempted the upgrade tool to analyze an 8.5.5 app (with 7.4 roots) upgrade to 8.7.1 and other apps . I get 0 conflicts.

It is pretty easy to setup so I do not think I did something wrong.

However it is unclear how complete the analysis is. Is it partial? 

Do you get a lot more detail after running the upgrade? Not knowing leaves me not trusting results.

Yes, complete analysis cannot be obtained by Pega.

We have to do the pre-upgrade analysis manually. eg.. manually identifying the customized HTML rules and so on.
