Upgrade tools on Pega v7 version

Hi ,

We have upgraded our system from 6.1 to 7.1.7 and its already in production. We have  performed only the automatic upgrade , I mean only the rules which can be automatically upgraded was done but not the rules which we need do manually.

Now we are planning to manually upgrade the rules , I am wondering if we can use the Upgrade Utility tools on Pega 7 as well. For a instance I want to run the UpgradeEstimatorTool.

Appreciate if details are provided.

Hello,

Can you please elaborate a bit about manually upgrading rules ? Do you mean you want to update your UI rules etc in order to support latest UI technology ? Or you want to update to latest ML ?

Hi, The UpgradeEstimator tool available in PDN - https://pdn.pega.com/exchange/components/upgrade-estimator-tool, is supported even for Pega 7. Similarly the ECS Upgrade Utilities (Pega 7 Upgrade Accelerator Pack) are supported on Pega 7 - https://community.pega.com/marketplace/components/pega-7-upgrade-accelerator-pack
