How to close ModalDialog window using custom button in react DX-API
Hi ,
We have configured the local Action with model dailoge on Button in pega and in react screen we can see the modaldailoge, We have want to run the Data Transform on click of button and close that ModalDailoge window,but we are not able to close it, Any leads

@siddharthb5807 the modal should close once the action has completed. Are you using the React Starter Pack available here?
Did you configure onClick event on the button and Add RunScript as the action? In the runscript just add "pega.u.d.doClose". or "pega.u.d.handleModalCancel" ?
Perhaps showing an example and the resulting symptoms would help with your question.

@MarijeSchillern We have configured the button in ModalDailoge and on clicking of Button , we are calling the DT and want to close the ModalDailoge, but the modalDailoge is not getting closed in react Screen, is there any script supported in react JS to close the modalDailoge?

@siddharthb5807 according to the Modal Dialog documentation (https://design.pega.com/design/modal-dialog/) modals allow users to remain within the context of their workflow. For example, a user may need to create a new case related to the one they are currently viewing.
They may be minimized and “docked” to the bottom of the screen, allowing users to review or copy other application content directly into the modal while they work.
Modals are dismissible by default. They can also be closed via the escape key, or by clicking anywhere outside of the modal.
I have been unable to find any examples of an activity closing it.
