Access Control Policies and Data Page Lookups

We have configured an Access Control Policy and Access Control Policy Condition to prevent a user group from reading and discovering a case. When configuring a Lookup Data Page to return this case, however, we see that the Access Control Policy is not enforced and the case data is returned for the unauthorized user.

We can see that when we configure a Data Page sourced from a Report Definition to return the same case the reading of data is correctly blocked.

Is it possible to use Access Control Policies with Lookup Data Pages?
