Record count in report definition

I am using a custom section inside a report definition to show certain data in report browser.

The filter of the report is equal to a single instance in the class.

Now every time I am running this report along with the custom section with all the values and I am seeing a record count of 1 due to filter match. 

Is there any way the count can be hidden, as the custom section holds multiple rows.

@swarnaliD2401 Can you please elaborate or share a screenshot ?  

The report viewer does exactly this. I would use this as a model. I believe it uses an embedded OOTB section pzDisplayRecCount.

Otherwise, the record count can be found on the pyReportContentPage on the clipboard (pxRecordCount).
