Ruleset version clean up post upgrade.
We have upgraded the our application from PEGA 7.2 to PEGA 8.5 version. Post upgrade we have skimmed all the application rulesets and created a new application and using the latest rulesets. We are promoting the new rulesets version to higher environment to till production. however , older rules is still present in all the environment. older rules such as Frame work rules and application rules. PEGA suggest that deleting the unused ruleset versions could improve the general performance of the application. So, We would like to know, whether there is a utility which can clean up all the unused rules based on the current application stack? IF we delete the unused rulesets, what about the class instances which were created with ruleset and has version in the form options? will it cause any problem with class if we delete the unused ruleset versions.

@ravik2 Hi Ravi, the link which you have provided talks about the wizard which is used for deleting the ruleset version manually.
For us there are many old ruleset versions which requires clean up. Using the wizard may not be proper solution for production. I am looking for a solution to delete old ruleset by DB script or thorough any automated way.

No readymade DB scripts available as this involved multiple database tables
Pega OOTB Wizard is the suggested way to use in this use case as you can re-import the RuleSet from the zip file if you later need to undo the deletion
