Microsoft Graph API for Email Consumption

We are currently on Pega Platform 8.2.8 (cloud) and need to meet requirement to consume emails from Microsoft outlook and client only supports Graph API. Are graph API's supported on 8.2.8, if not what else can be done. Also to put it out there, client has already denied the request of upgrade.

I believe the MS Graph API to receive/read emails supported from 8.4, in this case don't see any viable option other than upgrade. Do let me know if anything else worked out on same 8.2 version.
