How to add default value in column while uploading data in data table
Hi have requirement where I have created on Data table in Pega. I will be adding records in data table and process it later using agent. I am going to upload CSV file directly using OOTB import icon. But to identify each record I need to store the upload ID in one column. This upload ID is created by Pega for each csv upload. I don't want to loop complete file since it may have 10K+ records. I checked pyPreImportBatchProcessing activity, but it gets called only once not for each record.

Are you looking for a way to add default value while uploading/importing records into a DataType?
What version of Pega are you using? Could you elaborate your requirement?

I am using Pega 8.2. The requirement is, when we upload any file in data table using OOTB import functionality, Pega creates one case for it. I want that case ID to be stored in one column fpr each record of file. So that when I look into data table, I can easily identify which record is inserted as part of which upload.
The whole idea behind this is, I am going to use agent to process these records and I want agent to use one file records to be processed at one time.

To process the one file records at a time, is it possible to use Update Date Time as it will also be unique instead of Case ID?
