How to update the delegation configuration to show a different UI for delegated rules
Hi Community,
I have delegated a map value to the users but when the users open the delated rule, only one tab, the "Matrix" tab is displayed, in this specific case, users need to update both "Matrix" and "Configuration" tabs because they need to update the "Additional Allow Results" section under the "Configuration" tab. It seems like by default Pega is only showing the first tab for delegated rules.
Is there any way to make the rest of the tabs active when delegating to users?
Any help would be appreciate it.

Have a look at class Rule-Obj-DelegationConfiguration. Here you will find instances for every delegate-able rule. You can also find two entries voor MapValues. You can add a new one in your own ruleset and create a custom section to maintain it.

Hi MariovdH, thanks for your reply.
Actually I had already tried this, the "pxManageContentAndModifyTable" rule of type Delegation Configuration is Final so it does not allow to save it in my ruleset. If I save it with a different name then it is never called so my custom section is never displayed.
Is there a step that I am missing?

Hi,
You need to create a new instance.Here's one I did for delegating Field Values:
In the instance, specify how you want to maintain your rule. You can select from multiple ways, in my case I just used the RuleForm, I did not try the other options. You can create your own section and use it here.
If you check a Field Value before doing this, you will see you are not able to Delegate a Field Value. Try the steps described here and you will notice that now you can. Your Delegation popup will look like this:
Similarly, add one for your Ruletype. And you will see it as an additional option under "What will the end user be able to edit?"
