Get values for read only text input field on clipboard
Hi,
I have a scenario where the text input field data comes from a report definition and is set to read only. The Text input filed is also set to non editable as per the article https://collaborate.pega.com/question/how-create-form-read-only-non-editable-text-box. But the value displayed in that field is not visible on clipboard. I need those values on the clipboard for some math calculations. How can we achieve this?

Do you mean, you are able to see the value on the UI but it's not visible in the clipboard.
How are you setting the value, could you please share screenshots.

I don't quite why this would be not visible on clipboard? What do you have on your clipboard then just the property with an empty value? Can you add a screen shot or two.

Are you sure the value is mapped to a property ? If mapped to property -- it should show up on the clipboard.

I'll echo most of what others have already said here. But I'll add a few other approaches as well. You'll want to narrow down if you're dealing with a property issue, report issue, UI issue, etc. For example, start small and start simple. First try to use a different, basic property you know already works. Now make it read only. If you see the issue here, then we have a problem with the read only functionality. If you do not see the issue here, then the issue seems tied to a specific property. Then you'll want to find out what is unique about this particular property and so on. Attacking methodically like this should hopefully quickly narrow down where the underlying issue is so that we can help narrow it down further and eventually resolve ;)
