Update values in UI from Clipboard Edit Option
Hello All,
I am trying to edit the values of a work object in the clipboard. I save the values. However, even after saving the values in the clipboard and refreshing the UI, the values are not being updated in the UI.
For instance: I am updating value of CustomerName from "abc" to "xyz" in the clipboard and saving it.
When I check my UI, I still find old value i.e abc.
Could you please help me in finding the root cause.

Hello,
Are you sure to update the correct property? Unless the customer name gets refreshed. so you have two different values on screen and on clipboard?

I think if you refresh the UI, the actual value which is persisted will be shown, after the refresh if you see the clipboard, you will be seeing the old value.

I don't think we can changes the values on the UI from Clipboard, because when we refresh the UI to see what is changed in the clipboard, the values which are present on the UI will be stored on Clipboard, so we won't be seeing updated clipboard values on UI.
Could you please explain what is the use case if possible?

Thanks for your response.
I have gone through a training video available in PEGA CSA course. In this video, it has been demonstrated how values can be updated directly from Clipboard in the UI.
I was trying to replicate the same scenario but its not working for me.
I have attached the snippet of training module which covers this part.

I tried to implement the same scenario with the Radio button, it's working but not able to do it with text input. And value for radio buttons is not changing for the second time after we change in the clipboard.
