Case and Rule Search

Hi

We recently upgraded from Pega 7.1.5 to 7.4. And as you all know we use elastic search.

Problem : If we have the DSS "Pega-SearchEngine • indexing/distributed/enabled" as true the rule search doesnot work. if we update this as false the rule search works but the Case search doesnt work. Any permanent solution?

Also, please check the following Dynamic System Settings exist and are set to true:
Pega-SearchEngine/indexing/distributed/enabled
Pega-SearchEngine/indexing/distributed/index_enabled
Pega-SearchEngine/indexing/distributed/search_enabled

We are seeing below error for some of the obj classes .. any idea?

Hello Arvind,

Can you confirm if you implemented all the steps of the upgrade guide which are under the section named: "Upgrading from Pega 7.1.6 and earlier:Configuring the default search nodes and storagedirectory" (Page 73)?

Here's a quick link to review it: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/documents/pega-platform-74-upgrade-guide

I suspect that there are misses while implementing them or they were skipped altogether since they are marked "optional".
