How can I create an application using App Studio

Hi,

I am used to develop an application using Dev Studio (formerly known as Designer Studio), but have no experience with App Studio (or Express). I am unable to find where to start application development with App Studio, and need help.

In Dev Studio, you can initiate development after creating a new application from the menu below.

Now, I would like to do the same with App Studio. Can someone help me locating where to create a "New Application" in App Studio? I can't even get started...

You can create the new application in Dev studio and just after creating to start developing your application in App Studio, click Switch to new application.

Hi,

You can create a new operator and ruleset.

Post this you can login to App studio and create cases.

But for this you would need to crease new application using Designer studio.

I think that was the same thing in 7.x as well

Ok so it is NOT possible to create a new application in App Studio, but you always need to do so in Dev Studio. Got it, thanks.
