Creating a Purge Archive configuration using PA wizard will be an instance of PegaAccel-Management-Archival class. Note that this configuration is also a work object and one of its assignment will actually perform the purge/archive processing automatically as per the schedule and manually as well. The Archival settings created and scheduled from Wizard gets stored in pc_work_accel table with pyStatusWork as PENDING, which means archival configuration is scheduled.

a. However selected work or cover types and the aging criteria to purge in days will be stored as a data instance of Data-Admin-ArchiveSettings class.

b. Based on the scheduled process time, an assignment (Assign-Archive) instance gets queued as a System-Queue-ServiceLevel entry and this gets picked by SLA Agent.

c. SLA agent is responsible for performing the actual purging of work items and creating archive files using ProcessConfig activity.

d. To terminate an existing schedule configuration, use PA wizard -> Schedule Process & select the existing configuration to take action as “Remove”. This changes the pyStatusWork to “RESOLVEDREMOVED”
