Summary View Drill Down : Get Distinct Records
Hi I had a question on the get distinct records option available in the drill down tab of the summary view. on what basis does it removes the duplicate records. Does all the properties that are in the drill down needs to be same to be treated as duplicate .
I have 2 records where the pyid is same and wants only one of them to be visible . How can we achieve that.

Dev help is not very helpful here as it does not expand on the definition. However, my understanding is that it will be based on the unique key here.

I tried to check the SQL. Looks like it will treat the row as duplicate if all the columns are same for those 2 records . It should be done on the primary key but that's not the case.

That is the definition of the DISTINCT functionality in an SQL query. If more than one column is specified in the query, any record where all of the column values match those of another record will be omitted. I don't know of any way that a query can be constructed where multiple columns are selected but only one is specified as DISTINCT.
As there is no way to code the query, there is no way to provide this functionality.
