Changing the Default Login page
We are trying to change the login screen for some additional logic. For example, we would like to request access (if the user doesn't exist). Where we could create their operator ID and give them an unauthenticated access group (so they can't do anything until they are granted additional access groups).
I found the Web-Login HTML page, which I have customized and previewed, but I don't know how to make the "customized" Web-Login page the main page. I have also referenced https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/customizing-pega-7-login-screen which details what needs to change; however, I have not had any success (yet).
Can someone please explain how the system determines which Web-Login page to display to the user? I created a new system (sbir) and changed the browser to point to it, but it still doesn't bring up the customized login screen - any ideas?

Hi,
You're going down the correct path.
The system name points to instances of requestor types. The default login screen of Web-Login will be pulled from rule resolution based on the AccessGroup pointed to by the SystemName->Browser Requestor Type.
What I always do is start on the System,Nodes and Requestors landing page: System->General
This shows me the current system name and then the list of requestor types related to system name. Looks like you pulled the table above from this landing page.
In my AccessGroup SSOAuth:Unauthenticated I have it pointing to an application record built of core PRPC that just includes a ruleset of SSOTest. I save my Web-Login HTML rule into the SSOTest ruleset.

Thank you Chris - that was VERY helpful. I have copied the screenshots of what I had to check (in case anyone else has to troubleshoot this.
