Client Side Validation onchange event
The use case is performing validation on a form after a user updates the value. I have followed the steps suggested by Pega's Client-side validation with Javascript but am stuck. Here is what I have done so far:
Created a js text file
Referenced the text file on the proper harness
Write the correct logic to determine if the value is valid or not. I have proven that it has worked with logging the tests in the browser.

I am unsure of how to use the Javascript functions in the pega_validators and csvalid text files. What I have tried is making a "validation object" which consists of the input element and the error message and passing this object to the function display_getValidationError (from pega_validators) but this is not creating the necessary elements in the DOM to show the error as Pega would for an empty required field (example).
Does anyone have experience replicating field-level errors using Javascript?
Thanks
