Obj-Browse is not working properly in pega 8.2.2

Hi,

Our application has been upgraded from pega 7.1.7 to pega 8.2.2. In the upgraded version while trying to save a page using Obj-Browse method it's giving failure in tracer saying one of the property must have value while saving. But that property holds the value while saving into DB. The same code is working properly in pega 7.1.7.

We have raised an SR to track this. Can anyone please help on this.

From SR notes found that data is not being committed to the database table. So,added external mapping in the class and mapped the corresponding column to the property. Issue got resolved after that.

Is that property OOTB or custom one?Can you try to execute that query directly on database & share result with us.

Hi Abhishek,

Can you resolve those guardrail warnings.It shows as severe warning.Run the report after that.At run time may be value is getting removed due to this error.
