All text format is gone in read-only mode for text areas or rich text editor property.

Hello community,

We are experiencing an issue where all the text/paragraph/spacing/indentation formats are gone after viewing the text area and rich text editor property in read-only mode. Would it be possible if anyone help us in regards to this? What is the point of using any rich text functions if it does not show it how it should be in read-only mode?

Hi Masato, 

 

I think it is the expected behavior of RTE. We use CK Editor for this control. 

You can add <pre> tag to the RTE control code to preserve the indentation. 
<pre><pega:reference name='$this-value' mode="literal"/></pre>

Let me know if it works for you or not. 

You can disable the RTE, instead of showing in read only mode. if it suits your requirement.
