Attribute based access control Use case

Hi Members,

I am trying to find out some details about Attribute based access control in Pega. e.g.

1. How it is different than role based access control.

2. Where can this be referred ? e.g. Case type, flow action , tabs

3. Performance .

4. Use case (where it is best fit).
