Robot HeartBeat for Unattended RDA
Hello,
Looking for ideas on how to implement Heartbeat for unattended RDA's (No PEGA queue) so that BOT can be monitored on Robotic Manager. We have a backend job that runs all day and we want Robotics runtime to update Robotic Manager periodically. I have noticed Heartbeat REST calls gets executed for RPA (Pega Queue) BOT we are trying to implement same functionality where there is no PEGA PRPC dependency.
Any thoughts will be helpful.

Hi, TRILOK143 - your request is somewhat contradicting because you are saying "we want Robotics runtime to update Robotic Manager periodically", yet "where there is no PEGA PRPC dependency". The reason it is contradicting is because Robot Manager is a Pega application and requires PRPC install. You will have a PRPC dependency, if you use Robot Manger for any of its functions... If what you are saying is that you don't want to build bot work as cases, then the existing heartbeat will suffice because it is not attached to any cases. Any unattended bot runtime that registers with Robot manager and gets its package assignment will send a heartbeat to Robot manager. Robot manager will be visualizing bot runtimes on the dashboard with appropriate color status. The color status is all that you will get in Robot Manager as far as monitoring, if you don't have your bot work provided as cases. Hopefully it helps.
