Rule and App Schema Copy

Hi,

Has anybody done a Rule & App schema copy from one schema to another.

Eg:

RuleSchema1 is pointing to Region A and AppSchema 1 is pointing to Region A.

I want to setup Region B with same rules/data as Region A.

So

Can i just do a copy from RuleSchema1/AppSchema1 to RuleSchema2/AppSchema2 ? If No, can you explain why ?

OR

Do i need to do a fresh install of Pega in RuleScema2/AppSchema2 ?

This approach should work. You should have the database connection properly set so that the server points to the right dead.
