Upgrade from PRPC 6.2 SP2 to PRPC 7.4 fails in middle with ERROR - Unable to obtain DataSource for jdbc/tik_work

We have a PRPC 6.2 SP2 application which has 2 schema's Pega_rules and Pega_work(Customer Work Schema) . The application has gone through a tolerance upgrade from PRPC5.4 to 6.2SP2 a few years back. When I try to upgrade the application now I am facing a issue where upgrade terminates with (ternal.store.DataSourceManager) ERROR - Unable to obtain DataSource for jdbc/tik_work . This is the customer custom work schema and I supposse Upgrade script should ignore this and proceed but it fails here and terminates upgrade attaching the log file and setupDatabase.properties file any help is appreciated.

The issue is resolved by working around by giving DB details and making an URL based Database connectivity rather the JDBC lookup based DB connectivity just for the period of upgrade and falling back to JDBC based lookup. This issue is one off as client had a custom schema split done on PRPC 6.2 and had the table mappings accordingly where tables are spanning across two schema's.
