MSOGenerateExcelFile exports the excel with datetime fields as 20170921T180901.000 GMT

Hi All,

I'm using Pega 7.2.2 and I was using MSOGenerateExcelFile by creating a template and exporting the results of a report definition to excel sheet. The results are getting exported successfully but the fields with datetime gets exported as xxxxx GMT and not as 4/12/2018. Is there any better way of achieving this?

I have personally not experimented with macros, but, as discussed in these links, you can also attempt to try to use excel macro.
