Refreshing (F5) the screen clearing properties from clipboard
Hi
I have noticed a weird behavior where the values in clipboard are getting cleared when i refresh the screen.
Below are the steps to repro:
I have a flow -> flow action (have post processing activity PostActivityA) -> section
When i submit the flowaction (finish assignment) the PostActivityA is called and sets a flag property to true and also does some validation, setting error messages.
When the activity sets some page level error messages.. i could find the flag in the clipboard set to true. However when i refresh the screen the flag is erased from clipboard.
Any thoughts?

Hi, could you check the property that you are using to flag is not set as transient property. If you open the property from designer studio and go to "Advanced" tab check under "Persistence" section if "Do not save property data" is not checked. If it is checked the data will not persist.

That is expected behavior
FinishAssignment on submit button by default commit the case data, due to validation error commit won't happen in your case so when you refresh the section temp data will fade out. If you have save button in your case just do the save before the submit and check the flag you see the difference.

Does a refresh just not pull details from clipboard, but also post and reload the data ?
i though a refresh of browser manually (F5), will just refresh the screen with the data from the clipboard.
Irrespective of weather the data is persisted in db or not, the data should atleast be in the clipboard when i refresh isnt it?
is my understanding wrong?
