Property-Set-Messages not clearing the messages

I am setting errormessage as "" for a particular field to clear the property message using property-set-messages method.

But the errormessage continue to appear on the screen in 8.1.4.

What is the alternate way to clear property messages/field level messages

Hi,

Can you try using Page-Clear-Message. This method is used to remove all property messages and certain page messages from page identified in the step page.
