Mainframe appication partial screen matching
Hi,
I have already read http://help.openspan.com/52/Text_Adapters/Partial_Screen_Matching.htm for partial screen matching but unfortunately. the documentation didn't elaborate match on it. Has anyone already used this kind of interrogation?
In web adapters, table section is used when a table Is to be interrogated. How can I use this concept in mainframe apps

Save As Match Region for Partial Screen is how you would do this. Partial screens are usually used for repeating sections of a screen and the best way to match them is to use a regex pattern matching rule. Since each line may have different contents a regex match would be used to describe the format of the data instead of directly matching the contents.
