Can you run Fiddler tool and check if the images are being downloaded when the document loads? If not, make sure that the images are present in the webwb directory in the application.

Does the Date calendar works fine in OOTB UI gallery?

Then you can upload the custom images in the webwb directory. Here are the steps:

​Note: First thing I want to make it clear that if you are on client machine ,the image that you want to upload should be present/saved in client machine.

1.In Technical option ,Create new Binary File

  a)While creating new binary file,you will find below option:

                                 Application Name (Directory) : webwb

                                  File Name :XYZ 

                                  File Type : png/jpeg (mention image type either png or jpeg )

 b)In main option of binary file you will find two options :Upload and Download

c)if you want to upload image ,click on upload .you will have to select desired image

d)then Save your rule accordingly.

If you want to use that image in any section :Use Image field and mention your image information accordingly in that .

In this way you can achieve desired functionality.
