Update vs Upgrade

Hi,

We are going to move from Pega 7.2 to Pega 7.4. Our application also uses CRM framework so that also needs to be updated. I just wanted to understand whether we should go with update or upgrade? what is the different between these 2. Also if you can share the step by step guideline, would really help

Hi,

If we need to move from any version prior to Pega 7.1.0, we must upgrade. To move from any Pega 7.1 .x version to the most current release, run the update.

§Updates are smaller and faster than upgrades.
