Exception on Trying to Save a Pega Unit Test Case for an activity
Hi All,
I am trying to create Pega Unit Test Case for an Activity (which takes the json string and saves in clipboard).
On trying to save the Test Case i get the following exception (Full details of Activity and Error message in attached document):
Invalid expression or reference: line 1:0 no viable alternative at input '{'
{"age":100,"name":"mkyong.com","messages":["msg 1","msg 2","msg 3"]}

Please advise how to resolve this exception.

Our assertion fields and input parameters support expressions. If you are trying to use the mentioned input in an assertion field (Ex: Right side field in a property card assertion row) or as Rule Under Test input parameter directly, it would fail, as the mentioned string is not a valid expression. If your intent is for it to be treated as a string and not as an expression, it should be enclosed in double quotes and conflicting characters should be escaped so that it confirms to a standard string. For parameters, this can be done by clicking on the gear icon and editing the parameter value to form a valid string.

We have a 1.5MB Json file with lots of data in it. Making it a valid String in itself is a huge effort. Do we have a way using which the input parameter field can handle a String? if not any workaround for my situation?
Please find below the sample string i used as per your instructions but i am getting the below error in the activity when i execute the test case:
