The Log Analyzer tool was being run on a different server so the data files were not exported to the local machine. When running the Log Analyzer tool on the local machine, the data files are exported to the C:\Windows\Temp directory and can be viewed in the AES_LiteParser.xls file when macros are enabled.

Hi,
Was there any error while you tried to import? Could you please share some screen shots to understand that further?
Also, check if the same issue with other system too? Might be some system privilege related issue!

When you export the data from the Log Analyzer tool you should see the files generated in the C:\WINDOWS\Temp directory. When you click import, it should try to re-import the files from that directory.
I tested with Alerts and saw these files generated in my temp directory.

Do you see the export files present in your temp directory?

I have tried to access the C:\WINDOWS\Temp directory but seems access is restricted for me, so I changed this temp path in the excel to other drive and tried but its not working, do we have anyother alternative to make it work?
Please advise.
Thanks!

The export files would need to be present in the other directory for it to work. When I export, the files are automatically exported to C:\WINDOWS\Temp. I do not see a configuration option to change where the files are exported. Maybe someone else will know how to change it.

I looked at the export function in the ViewMainActionBean.class and I see the filename hardcoded with C:\WINDOWS\Temp.

Hi,
Seems some access issue with you to perform certain action, is there any option to get access in 'C:\WINDOWS\Temp' directory and try that?

If you upload an Alert log and then export that row to Excel, do you see the files alert_export, exceptions_export, and gc_event_export in C:\WINDOWS\Temp?
