Pega PRPC 7.4 server startup error
I have installed personal edition version 7.4 in my personal laptop to work on the training courses. But when i click on start server, am always getting the below errors. Iam new to Pega and hence need help to fix the below issue so that I can work on my training and courses.
Please respond to resolve this issue ASAP.

can you tell which Database are you using? Also, I see the following errors in the log file you attached.

This is usually due to an empty 'rules.pr_engineclasses' table, or possibly it does not contain the configured codeset version.

Could you please cross check once if you have correctly configured the Data Source resource in the configuration file.

Hi,
Pega-EngineCode is not coming, please restart the database to resolve the issue. Seems to be database listener stopped.

Can you check whether the database jar is placed in the Application Server lib folder?
Say if Oracle DB is used, Copy the ojdbc.jar in say Tomcat lib folder and restart the sever.
