Using interactive PDF forms and checkboxes

As far as I can tell, there does not seem to be any existing functionality for an automation to fill in interactive forms on PDFs using the PDF adapter. Is this still the case, or has there been any additional functionality added in recent updates? If not, is anyone aware of a workaround to allow for filling in forms, checking checkboxes, and clicking on buttons in a PDF? Thanks.

Currently that is outside of the scope of the connector.
