Working of "Inherit privileges within class hierarchy" in an access role
I have a class group SAE-SampleApp-Work which has a privilege TestPrivilege and a casetype SAE-SampleApp-Work-Case2 which has a flow action which has a privilege TestPrivilege.
I'm unable to run the flow action despite having the privilege added to a class group and selecting inherit privileges.
My understanding is when i select the inherit privilege.. since SAE-SampleApp-Work is a parent class of SAE-SampleApp-Work-Case2 the privilge should be automatically applied.
Am i wrong here?

Could you please check the access of role to object of the current user. Refer the screenshot attached.
In the privilege tab, whether your privilege is mentioned or not.

The privilege is given to a class group with the Access Role having the "Inherit privilege" option checked.
Despite having the appropriate role added to my access group i'm not allowed to access the required rule in a class in the class group which has the privilege.
My understanding is that when i select the inherit privileges and when a privilege is provided at a class group level, all the classes in that class group should ideally be inheriting that privilege.
Can you please explain how the inherit privilege helps? or is the scenario which i'm referring is not what the option is meant for?

Hi Haria,
I assume you have AROs defined for both the class (Class group and Casetype) as part of one access role name for the access group which your operator/user is pointing to.
Please let me know it seems interesting.
