OCR-related methods with fewer parameters for non-English languages
Hi. Can we somehow utilize OCR-related methods with "fewer parameters" for non-English languages? For example, ClickByOcr with 4 parameters or with 7 parameters does not have scanLanguage parameter, which seems to mean that it cannot be used for non-English languages. Will it be enhanced in the future release, or can the current capability somehow let us use it for non-English languages?

If you wish to change the scanLanguage parameter you will need to use the OCR with 11 parameters. That said, you do not need to pass in values for all those parameters as they will default to what they would be for 4 parameter OCR if you do not fill them in. Those defaults are as follows:
SEarchPosition: Within
DistanceFrom :Center
DistanceLimit: Depends on SearchPosition for Within, it will be 0
coloredBackground: False
lowResolutionText: False
SearchDictionaryType: Normal
Not filling in the additional parameters will not break your automation, as they will default to what they would be if you used ClickByOCR with less parameters.

Thank you for your note. I understood what you said, though I am still dissatisfied with the fact that they (the simpler methods) cannot be used for non-English languages, since we rarely use English UI in Japan.
