Lock has release from Child wrk object
Not able to take the lock on work object when next assignment is for the same USER. It's working fine on other environment.
Error message -
You have lost the ability to make this change because a change elsewhere has taken precedence over the change you made here.
Please click on the assignment again to continue."

I have resolved the issue by local changes (removed checkbox "look for assignment" from flow action).

Is screen is idle for some before clicking for next assignment ?
If yes the check the passivation settings at prconfig.xml level to check the browser timeout.
Or
Have you committing the pyWorkPage , If yes lock will be released on work object once it is committed.
