How and why 3 unsuccessful login attempts gives Authentication Failed screen
When i try to login with incorrect user name / password in default pega's login screen, it asks me to relogin. However, if i do the same 3 times, it gives an authentication error page with below information. I am trying to understand how is this behavior controlled. Is it possible to avoid this behavior and keep the user on login screen.

Hi By default if you pass incorrect login details three times it will pop this generic pop up, yes we can control this with the below DSS
You can use below DSS to limit no of login attempts using custom authentication.
Ruleset:Pega-Engine
Purpose: Authentication/MaxLoginAttempts
Value: 6
increase the limit as per your business need.
