Generate Unique CSV File using Bix
Hi,
Is there any way to generate csv file with unique name; each time extract rule is run? We might need to run Extract rule multiple times but since it always generates the same file name, there is a risk it may replace the previous file.

Hi,
You can use substitution strings in the To file field so that a separate file gets generated for each extract run.
Ex: When you give myfile%s in the To File, each time you run the extract rule, a new file gets generated with serial number appended to file name starting from one.
Output will be like myfie1, myfile2,..
These are available substitution strings: %i,%c, %r,%d,%t,%s. Refer Bix user guide for information about these.
