Grid Repeat Filter Values

Hi all,

we have a problem with the Filter Grid Values. Our Grid is sourced by a Data Page configuration as follows:

The List is populated with the values we expect from the .ReferenceDesc_DE property as expected but when we use the filter function the values in the filter are the values of property .ReferenceCode. See Screenshot here:

We expect "Kunde aktiv" and "Kunde ehemalig" as filter values but we get "KUNDEAKTIV" and "KUNDEEHEMALIG"

Any Idea how we can get the display text property value as filter value?

Thanks for posting your query in PSC :)

Could you let me know below:

1) Pega version used

2) Filtering setting selected for the reported column i.e. 'Type of the Person'. Share the screenshot.

3) Is the cell in the grid configured to radio control wherein the list source is mapped to Datapage?

4) Screenshot of the grid configuration made for all the tabs.

Hi,

1) 7.2.2 with SAI 7.14

2) See Attachement FilterS.png (sorry media Server not working for me atm)

3) Cell is configured as Dropdown and sourced from Data Page

Thanks for the response and sharing the screenshots.

I tried the use case at my end in Pega Platform 7.2.2. Refer the attached the document(GridFilter.pdf) for your quick reference and let me know if this helps to resolve the reported behavior.

I'm also facing the same issue. The issue is when for a dropdown, Property for display and value is different. Then in filter, we're getting property for value as filter values.

not sure, how it is behaving like this, just try re-configuring it may be some other sample property,

also can you check the behavior in UI gallery as well, customize the appropriate section there, and check the same.

To resolve this issue, go to column properties and change 'Filter by' to 'Format' from 'Value'.

For reference I'm attaching screenshots demonstrating the same.
