Report Definition giving duplicate Records
Hello team,
Can some one let me know whether is there any way to call Activty/DataPage from Report Definition.
Reason : Currently my RD rule is giving duplicate records due to joins. I want to eliminate duplicate records before report renders.
I want to do some data manipulation in Activity or load Data Page with unique records based on some unique condition before RD renders the data.

To accomplish your requirement, use 'Filters' in Query tab of the report definition with appropriate conditions. This will eliminate the duplicate records when the report is displayed.

Hello Naga,
Apart from verifying the setting as per PranthiC's suggestion, verify the 'Remove duplicate rows' option is enabled/checked in the Report Definition.

Thanks a lot.
I have already used filters and checked 'Remove Duplicate Rows' options. After playing with all the possible available options, still i have some duplicate records. This duplicates is because of the join work table with Assign-. My work table is having a different structure which will result duplicate records when joined with Assign-. I cannot change the schemas at this situation.
what i feel is if there is any possibility of calling Activty/Data page from Report Definition, then i can use pyRemoveDuplicatesFromList function in Activity to aviod duplicate records before rendering the data.
I achieved this with List View but i am not ready to go for List View.
So appreciate if some one can throw light on how to call Activity or Data Page from Report Definition.

Try using the group by option. Can't be much of a help without knowing the joins.
Ex: Group by using the work object's pzInsKey

Report definition doesn't support calling an activity or data page, as we do from list view.
To fix this issue, call the report from an activity using pxRetrieveReportData and in the later step of the activity remove duplicates using a function or any logic.
If your use case is to display the content of the report in UI, call displayReport activity after the duplicate removal for displaying the report data.
