Keep Spaces in the beginning of a property

As per my knowledge, this cannot be achieved. BTW, can you please elaborate why you have that type of requirement. May be we can come up with some alternate solution.

Thanks for your reply.

I am encrypting a single value with the help of tools.getPRCrypto().encrypt(theValue);

The encrypted value looks like :

{pr}vebtMUW7FIUrGtYd2Kbs+AXSmw9msUasIqJvMRIFhTs=

the string contains spaces at the beginning.

it's get trimmed when using the @Utilities.decryptPW(.Value)

so the result is not correct..

i need to keep the leading spaces.

I checked the code and could find that space(tab) should not be the issue. So, can you please check and share the logs. I think you might be getting

"unformatValue: value is not in correct format" in the logs.
