Upgrade Effect on Word Template Based Corr Generation
One of our customer planning to upgrade an app from PRPC 6.2 sp2 to 718.In the old application there are number of word template based letter which generates corr at run time using pega ootb activx. Now after upgrading to 718 which uses sliver light for template generation , will existing letters work without code/settings changes ?

On reviewing the corresponding SR, we see that it has been resolved. SA-49641 was created as a result of the investigation. Please reference that if you have the same question.

I don't have much idea about older version i.e PRPC 6.x,
Could you explain your requirements with the detailed description, alternatively we have many new features available in Pega 7.x to generate correspondence rule?

I have been involved in the upgrade projects for a considerable number of customers and haven't heard any specific issues related to moving from ActiveX to silverlight for Word Templates.
I would recommend you posting upgrade related questions / clarifications in the Upgrade Center community for wider reach and more appropriate replies / solutions.
