Is there a limit to Standard Agents that we can configure on one node?

Hi All,

As per our requirement, we have a need, to create to create multiple agents (standard). I was just wondering if there is any limit or a standard to create number of agents? Please let me know the rough number of custom agents you have configured/seen in your experience. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

As of my understanding if number of agents are going to be increase on particular will impact the load on database as each thread will handle and run queries in the context. May I know your requirement how many agents you are planning to configure.

Hi Phanindra,

There is no such limit specified by Pega for the maximum number of agents, however  having a dedicated node for agents will help you avoid any unanticipated performance issues.
