Is it possible to group case instances based on a single property value in pega 7.2.2?
I have an application where I need to process invoice payments and I can have multiple invoices for the same payee and want to issue just one check for all the invoices together. In this application, each invoice is a case instance and I want to know is there a way by which I can group the case instances (multiple invoices) together in a new case instance and process them all at once.

It sounds to me that you might want to expose the property VendorName and then write a Report Definition to grab all cases with the same VendorName. You expose the property as the RD requires it -- and, once exposed, you can add an index to make sort and retrieval go faster.

I currently do not have a parent case and child case. There is just one case type and it has a property 'vendor name' and I want to group cases based on the vendor name.
