Can ECT tool compare minor version of the ruleset if configured in Application XML?
Can ECT tool compare specific rule set version rather than all versions.

Hi Riddhi,
Yes it can. In ECT you can apply filters at Ruleset level as well as Version level to see specific version level changes. Please refer to Page 13 in ECT Installation Usage Guide in the downloaded ECT package.

Hi Riddhi,
ECT does comparison of the rulesets those are listed under pxThread > pxSecuritySnapshot > pxUserRuleSets/pxUserRuleSetsLocalized. So, if you want to compare only specific ruleset versions, keep only required XML elements and remove the rest from the pxThread XML before uploading to ECT.
Say in your example
<rowdata REPEATINGINDEX="1">RULESET1:01-01-01</rowdata>
<rowdata REPEATINGINDEX="2">RULESET1:01-01-03</rowdata>
<rowdata REPEATINGINDEX="3">RULESET1:01-01-04</rowdata>
if you want to compare only RULESET1:01-01-01, then remove other two rowdata elements and keep just one entry
<rowdata REPEATINGINDEX="1">RULESET1:01-01-01</rowdata>

As I said earlier, if I add higher rule set version for instance <rowdata REPEATINGINDEX="1">RULESET1:01-01-04</rowdata> only in the xml, tool compares all lower ruleset version until 01-01-04.
Tool compares RULESET1:01-01-01, RULESET1:01-01-02, RULESET1:01-01-03 and RULESET1:01-01-04 even though <rowdata REPEATINGINDEX="3">RULESET1:01-01-04</rowdata> is specifically mentioned in the xml.
