Passing a section to Cascading Approval
Hi,
I want to reference a custom section with some details, in the cascading approval process to be visible to the approver on his screen to review the details and approve it. can anyone suggest a way to achieve it. Thanks in advance.

There is an activity pzApprovalPreProcessing which checks the pyCascadingGetApproval flow parameters for additional section name to be displayed in pyApproval section used in the Cascading approval process.
If you have to check and change (if needed) these rules to access the parameter value to pass section name dynamically.

Instead of setting in the activity, I wish to ask the section name in the sub-process configuration box itself. So as to make for the developers easy.

Hi Vamsy,
We can pass the custom section name by setting value to pyApprovalSectionName property.
Before Approval Step , In any DT/Activity set this value.
.pxFlow(pzApprovalFlowWrapper).pyFlowParameters.pyApprovalSectionName == "Custom Section Name".
