Upgrade from PEGA 7.1.7 to 7.2.2 - question - Reposting
We are upgrading from PEGA 7.1.7 to 7.2.2. When we review the "PEGA722_Platform Update" document and understand below process needs to be done.
We have split schema configuration and planning to update from PEGA 7.1.7 to PEGA 7.2.2
My Questions are below.
-
What are the exact steps we need to do for update pega 7.1.7 to PEGA 7.2.2?
As per my understanding – we need to 1) Rule Schema Update 2) Data Schema update 3) Restart JVM’s – it completes total update process. Is it correct (or) do I miss any steps?

While running the scripts – in the document it says for “Rule Schema Update”
pega.rules.schema= new rules schema
pega.data.schema= new rules schema
What is the meaning of “new rules schema”?
-
While run the “Data Schema” it syas – rule schema name = new rules schema and “data schema = existing data schema”
pega.rules.schema=new rules schema
pega.data.schema=existing data schema
What is the value we need to mention at “new rules scehma” and “existing data scehma”?
.
