xCAR - Usecases

Recently heard about Pega Product XCAR [Extended Customer Analytics Record] from a client.

We are trying to explore xCAR to store customer data. We don't have much documentation available in PDN on xCAR.

We want to understand

1. How xCAR can minimise IT lifecycle to introduce changes quicker
2. Usage of internal and external cassandra
3. Different integration patterns for bringing data into cassandra

I have looked into the post already. I would like to see  some use cases to understand xCar better. Is there any usecase/documentation available for using xcar (like step by step guide) ?
