pyWorkCover is missing

Hi ,

I have a work item X. In the pyworkpage of X, I am able to see the property pxCoverInsKey Y.

As per our application design, X should be a covered item and Y should be the cover of it.

Somehow pyWorkCover is missing for X.

Is there a way to cover the X manually under Y. This happened only for this work item

Hi ,

Can you please open the clipboard for the child wo and check for the properties : pxCoverInsKey(should be the pzInsKey of the parent WO) ?
Open the parent WO and check for the properties pxCoveredCount , pxCoveredCountOpen and pzInsKey ?

Hi,

 

All the properties are available on pywork page of my clipboard. py work page contains pxCoverInsKey aswell. But the pyWorkCover is not available when I open my work object

Hi Manasa,

Can you provide your child case creation steps?  

Is Y class is independent to X? Did you mention it in coverable work types?

If it is one of the issue, and you are sure of parent and child, manually update these details :

pxCoveredCount , pxCoveredCountOpen and pxCoverInsKey. It should solve the problem.

Hey i also faced similar problem, but I realized that it is not an issue, even when u move to the child case, case focus will be on parent case , check the screen carefully u can find child case link
