Configuring Pega Change Manager
hi ,
Does anyone know , how to configure PCM to monitor multiple pega instances ? The PCM user guide mentions setting up PCM to monitor specific node of a Pega server by creating a DSS .with purpose config/PCM/enable/<<System Node>> in PCM client ruleset .
Can multiple Pega instances be configured in the same manner by setting/creating DSS ?

Hi Rima
To configure PCM to monitor multiple pega instances , you need to have PCM in every pega instance.
DSS( config/PCM/enable/<<System Node>> ) mentioned in user guide is for monitoring specific node among multiple nodes of same pega instance.

Hi Rima,
To monitor multiple pega instances from the PCM server, all your clients need to be configured to the PCMServer. The process of configuring is mentioned the guide under "Configure Connection to the PCMServer Database"
Additional configuration for your client systems that are missing in the guide,
1. If the PCMServer Database rule is missing in the application, create this Database rule and point that to your PCM server.
2. Update the below 2 class DADT to point to the respective classes in PCMServer database
- PCM-Work-Exemption
- System-Queue-PCMServer
